Revealed

Wood, plaster, acrylic, hand-sanded, 2024

Revealed was not drawn — it emerged.

This female figure surfaced instinctively through layered plaster and acrylic, then gently sanded until the wood beneath began to breathe through. Shaped with quiet attention, she is not a portrait of someone specific, but rather a presence — an intuition, a memory, a trace.

The background, sanded and textured, becomes part of the story, evoking skin, roots, or shifting air.

She shares a lineage with the guardian-like figures in Róóts, but this is not a sentinel. This is stillness. Reflection.
